そして、クロマグロの数が増えるように、どうやって取る数を減らすかをこれからの１年で考えて、再来年からそのやり方で行うという考えを話しました。
会議に出席した人からは「水産庁の考えはいいと思います」という声や「これからどうやって仕事をしていくか、今は考えることができません」と心配する声が出ていました。
クロマグロについては、もっとしっかり数を管理したほうがいいという意見が世界でも多くなってきています。水産庁は、来月福岡である国際会議で日本の考えを説明することにしています。

Thoughts on diminishing harvest of the Pacific bluefin tuna
The Japanese Fisheries Agency have held a conference to discuss on the issue of diminishing numbers of Pacific bluefin tuna, which is the most popular species among the tuna family.
Approximately 350 people from the fishing industry attended this conference.
Mr. Miyahara Masanori, who works as the Japanese Fisheries Agency, explained, "According to global research, the population of Pacific bluefin tuna has been decreasing annually since 1995, and has reached the same levels as the lowest recorded number of 18000 tonnes of Pacific bluefin tuna in the 1980. There are concerns that the number of Pacific bluefin tuna will drop further if we continue with current level of fishing activity."
Therefore, to increase the population of Pacific bluefin tuna, discussions are held to consider what could be done in the next year, to execute an action plan in the following year.
According to the attendees of the conference, some remarked, "I think that the considerations of the Japanese Fisheries Agency are excellent", while some voiced their concerns saying, "I am unable to think about how this will affect my job from here forth."
This topic of Pacific bluefin tuna has received increasing global attention that it will be favourable to impose more severe restrictions to limit the numbers. The Japanese Fisheries Agency will announce the considerations of Japan in the upcoming international conference held at Fukuoka next month.
